Privacy policy

PA is a private assistant used only by its owner. This page describes what it does with Google account data.

What it accesses

The Google account's email address, to sign the owner in to their dashboard. For Gmail inboxes the owner connects: read-only access to their email (the gmail.readonly permission). PA cannot send, delete or change email.

How it is used

To show the owner summaries of their own email, flag bills, renewals and security notices, and match receipts to their own bank transactions. To sort each message, its text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API.

Storage

Data is stored on the owner's private server. Message text and previews are deleted after 30 days (the server's nightly backups keep copies for up to 14 days longer); short summaries are kept. Long numbers such as card and account numbers are masked before anything is stored. Google access tokens are stored encrypted.

Sharing

Data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone other than the processing described above. PA's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and the owner can delete stored data from their server.
